In 2008, Vox Amplification announced the future release of the VTX200 Black Diamond, the latest flagship model in their Valvetronix Amp line! This model was thought by many to be the standard to which all other modeling amps would be judged! Unfortunately, the amp was discontinued before it ever became available and Vox would go on to create more affordable Valvetronix amps with less features and user programs. The downsizing of Vox's Tonelab line would also continue, from their mammoth Tonelab SE (2004), to the smaller Tonelab LE (2007), followed by the compact Tonelab ST (2009) and Tonelab EX (2011). It is now time to revive the Black Diamond spirit once again with the Vox Tonelab BD: Black Diamond !!!
